
Winning the Open Declic Peche Angling final in 2003. This was in France against top European Anglers. I had over 50 kilo of bream on the waggler.
Fishing in the NFA ladies world championship team over the past 14 years obtaining 5 team golds and 2 individual golds, amongst many others.
This has to be winning my first World Title in 2002 in Slovenia. Winning the title the following year on home soil in front of my family was very special. Also to make both trips memorable we won team golds to go with them. It doesn't get any better than that.
With the NFA Ladies Team England, the past two years we have missed out on any medals and it hurts, so hopefully this year we will be back on winning form. I would like to catch some fish that really pull back, like a big cat or a Nile Perch.

When fishing competitions remember you are not competing against the anglers at the next peg, but the fish in front of you.
Slider fishing on both rivers and lakes, followed closely by bloodworm fishing on the pole.
Is there any? Cooking, then eating it with a good bottle of wine, followed by a DVD.
As far as I know I am the only international freshwater angler to have had 6 consecutive section wins in the world championships. 2 in Croatia in 2001 when I got a Bronze individual, then 2 in Slovenia and 2 in England. Not even Alan managed that, as he had one second in his trio of golds (but there are more teams in the mens world championships)
