Bob Roberts, Julian Cundiff, Tom Dove and Brian Skoyles were present in the impressive Norwich branch of Angling Direct to talk bait, rigs, and tactics for catching carp and barbel. All the consultants were more than willing to demo rigs, and go into detail about how they target their chosen species.
The guess the weight competition was very popular, and three lucky visitors ended up winning some great Daiwa gear.
Tom, and Jules as the main experts on Carp rigs were kept busy tying up rigs, leaving Bob to concentrate on barbel fishing. Brian did his best to copy Jules’s rigs, and Bob’s ideas on how to fish the Trent.
It was a busy day, and really good to meet the visitors to the shop, and the Angling Direct staff, who made us very welcome.
