Hywel will work closely over the coming season with the product development team, contributing his extensive skill, knowledge and experience to the creation of a new and exciting range of rods, reels and accessories.
"Signing for Daiwa is a very exciting opportunity; it allows me to work with top class engineers in their state of the art facilities in Scotland" explained Hywel.
"This means that I can get involved in every aspect of design and development on rods for the UK fishermen. Having tried some of the early prototypes it has shown me that over the next few years Daiwa are certain to break some exciting new ground in modern blank technology. Daiwa have a great tradition in fly fishing both for salmon and trout and I am looking forward to working on many new and exciting product ranges."
