Feel Alive.

Light, compact, and easy to assemble
So what makes it such good value?
Ease of use… Undo the large, easy to turn, knurled nut at the end of the main tube, and the two legs and the up right stem fold out. Retighten the Knurled nut and everything is locked in place. It’s that easy. Buzzer bars can then be screwed on, and you are ready to go.
Weight… This has to be one of the lightest pods I’ve come across. The use of Aluminium throughout makes it so light you’ll hardly notice it is in your holdall.
Adjusting… The pod is fully adjustable. Legs are telescopic and have an easy to tighten locking screw, and the vertical stem is also adjustable for height. The inner stem has a flattened section to help prevent twisting. The central tube is also adjustable for length so you can use the pod on a range of rods, and different bobbin set-ups
Portability… The mission pod folds down very easily, has its own bag, and takes up very little space.
The pod does not come with buzzer bars, but you can buy matching bars which attach with a standard 3/8 BSF thread.

All in all the Mission Pod is a nice piece of tackle, well designed and well made, that will serve you well. I really liked the lightness that the Aluminium gives you, but obviously it is not an inherently strong material so you do loose a little on overall strength, but if you are into heavy metal, there is also a stainless version, which will be more than a match if you are into giving your gear some rough treatment.
