Catalina
Taking its influence from the stable of Saltiga the new Catalina employs Hardbodyz; the super metal body that provides unbeatable construction accuracy and solidity of component location. Letting nothing move unless it has to the Catalina has no back wind and is sealed tight to be completely waterproof.
Driving via Digigear and a machined brass pinion these reels are designed with big in mind. The hardened line roller is extra wide and features Twist Buster with AirBail adding to the security of line transit.
Primarily designed for saltwater jigging their 5.1:1 retrieve consumes 98cmof line per handle turn but maintains tremendous levels of power. And when you are forced to give the combination of anodised Dura-aluminium and Teflon impregnated composite drag washers let you smoothly release line at a mean speed. A solid machined alloy handle connects direct to the drive gear and the oversized grip ensures you have plenty to hold onto.
