George Toller caught this impressive double figure cod just before Christmas from Clevedon Pier in North Somerset.
The big cod was landed using a Daiwa TD-XS 129PM rod coupled with a Millionaire 7HT Mag reel.
“This was my first ever double figure cod, and it fell to a single lugworm tipped off with a small piece of mackerel fished on a pennel rig” explained George, who is the secretary of Clevedon Pier Sea Angling Club.
Daiwa’s Marketing Manager Stephen McCaveny added, “It’s always great to hear from anglers having success using our products, and even though George was fishing from the pier I note that he has still chosen the security and protection of an EN-Tec flotation suit.”
