Wet and happy, after stalking this stunning Mirror. As I walked down to the shallow end of the lake, I found two fish sending up puffs of silt, in the margins, this was one of them... Caught in 2ft of water, under the rod top, awesome!

I have a real love hate relationship with cats. If I'm fishing for them deliberately, I marvel at their power and endurance, but if I'm carp fishing and they wipe out my carefully laid traps as they tow me all round the lake, I'm not so sure... this one was one of the not so sure type!
